Cos Lettuce
Cos lettuce has an elongated head, long narrow dark green leaves with a distinctive rib almost to the tip of the leaf.
Cos has a crispy, crunchy texture and a slightly sweet, tangy flavour. The paler interior leaves have the most delicate flavour.
Cos is believed to be the oldest cultivated variety of lettuce and is the classic choice for Caesar salads.
Midi Cos
The shorter cousin of our Cos lettuce, with a usable leaf length of 15-20cm.
Baby Cos
Baby cos lettuce has crisp, narrow leaves and is sweeter than regular cos lettuce.
Its leaves are light green in colour and grow as long slender heads around a central core.
Iceberg Lettuce
Iceberg is a large pale lettuce, with crisp densely packed leaves in a firm globular head.
Our Iceberg lettuce is packed in the field and immediately vacuum cooled to improve shelf-life.
Iceberg lettuce is valued for the texture and crunchiness it adds to sandwiches, salads and wraps.
