This bok choy recipe has a little kick to it, but will not overwhelm young palates.
1 Tbsp. peanut oil
500g Buk Choy
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
Heat peanut oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Wash bok choy. Separate leaves and stems.
Chop each into bite-sized pieces.
Stir fry stems for 2-3 minutes.
Add bok chok leaves and garlic. Stir-fry another 1 -2 minutes,
Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce and a few drops of hot sauce.
Stir-fry another 1 -2 minutes until bok choy is crisp tender.
Taste, and add more hot sauce if desired.
